Jinchengjiang Adds Two Trains to Liuzhou for Qingming Festival Peak

The Jinchengjiang Railway Station in Hechi will add two extra passenger trains to Liuzhou from April 1 to 12 to cope with the peak passenger numbers expected during the coming festivals of Tomb-Sweeping Day and Shangsi Festival (Double Third Day).

According to Nanning Railway Bureau, the No 5527 train is planned to depart Liuzhou at 8:10 am and arrive at Yizhou at 9:20 am, finally reaching Jinchengjiang at 10:35 am. It will then return, leaving at 11:30 am, passing Yizhou at 12:18 pm before arriving at Liuzhou at 1:53 pm.

The No 5529 train will travel the same route every afternoon. It is scheduled to depart Liuzhou at 3:05 pm, passing Yizhou at 4:15 pm and arriving at Jinchengjiang at 5:40 pm. Then the train will return, leaving at 6:50 pm, and arriving at Yizhou and Liuzhou at 7:38 pm and 9:20 pm respectively.

The ticket price for a hard seat is 5 yuan ($0.77) from Jinchengjiang to Yizhou, 7.5 yuan from Yizhou to Liuzhou and 12.5 yuan for the whole journey.

Tickets for the two temporary trains are currently on sale. Passengers have been advised to book in advance.
