Fangchenggang to Hold 13th Guangxi Garden & Horticulture Expo

Fangchenggang has been chosen to hold the 13th Guangxi Garden & Horticulture Expo in 2018 by the Expo Committee, according to the Fangchenggang urban council on Nov 19.

Fangchenggang's planned expo park will require an investment of 1 billion yuan ($156.7 million), and cover an area of 2,500 mu (166.67 hectares). The park will include a main venue, 14 cities' exhibition parks, a public area, and supporting roads.

The city is now doing site selection, to be followed by land acquisition and preliminary work of the park construction.

The Guangxi Garden & Horticulture Expo is held twice a year. Its purpose is to enhance the landscaping and ecological construction level of Guangxi and strengthen scientific and cultural exchange in landscape gardening.
