Fangchenggang North Station Transports over 620,000 Passengers in First Half of Year

Fangchenggang North Station transported 627,300 passengers from January to June, 0.8 times more than the same period last year, reported Fangchenggang Daily on July 7.

Three reasons contributed to the rapid growth of the passenger number.

Fangchenggang North Station opened four bullet train routes and three intercity express trains, which expanded the railway transport capacity.

The bullet train between Fangchenggang and Guangzhou brought large numbers of visitors and provided great convenience for Fangchenggang residents.

Last but not least, the urban integration of Nanning, Beihai, Qinzhou and Fangchenggang attracted many tourists from the other three cities to Fangchenggang by intercity expresses.
