Fangchenggang-Guangzhou Bullet Train Transports 30,000 People

The high-speed bullet train running between Fangchenggang North and Guangzhou South stations carried more than 30,000 passengers within a month between May 20 and June 21, achieving an 85 percent passenger capacity rate.

The opening of the bullet train brought much-needed convenience to Fangchenggang's residents, most of whom take the train for migrant work, travel, business trips and leisurely visits. There has also been an increase in the number of passengers from other provinces traveling to Fangchenggang since the launch of high-speed train.

The Fangchenggang North Station will launch a second service to Guangzhou South from July 1, increasing the number of daily services running between the two cities to two for the convenience of the passengers.
