Liuzhou's Most Beautiful View Point: the Riverside Footpath
The one kilometer riverside footpath at the core landscape belt of the Liujiang River is perhaps the best way to see Liuzhou, a city in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The path starts from Yaobu Wharf and passes the Liudong Water Works, Curled-up Dragon Park and the Lamp Stand Mountain before winding-up at the Confucious Temple.
Walking along the riverside path enables people to best appreciate the river water scenery, flowers, bridges, mountains and architectures. The path is accessible and can be enjoyed by a variety of people, from casual strollers to dedicated outdoor enthusiasts.
Many other leisure travel projects are under construction in the city, including the Huanjiang Waterfront Avenue, one of Liuzhou’s major projects. It starts at the Hedong Great Bridge and ends at the Jinglan Great Bridge, lying along the Liujiang River. It will also have a 24.31-kilometer bike lane, which starts at the Dong’an Bridge of the Hedong Great Bridge and ends at the crossing of the Sanmenjiang Road.
