China's Guangxi Art Troupe Performances Applauded by Malaysian Audience
BEIJING, Nov. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- China's Guangxi Art Troupe gave a show themed "Beautiful China, Beautiful Guangxi" at Malaysia's national palace in Kua Lumpur on Tuesday night, a celebration for the 40th anniversary of China-Malaysia diplomatic ties.
Apart from the time-honored folk song Liu Sanjie, other performances also earned long applause, including dance show, and acrobatic shows skating on the table.
An audience said seldom did he watch such an excellent performance in Malaysia, and hoped that more Chinese artists could come to give shows.
Together with 1,300 audiences, Huang Huikang, Chinese ambassador to Malaysia and Tan Sri, former speaker of Malaysia’s Senate watched the show.
This performance was jointly held by China Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia, Chinese Embassy in Malaysia and the Culture Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
