Guilin becomes top 10 tourism destination in China

According to the statistics of Ctrip's online booking, the top 10 popular domestic package tour destinations in 2014 are: Beijing, Guilin, Sanya, Sanxia, Kunming, Jiuzhaigou, Shanghai, Xi'an, Lijiang and Guizhou.

Ctrip published the 2014 Mid-Autumn Festival Tourism Report, which indicates that during Mid-Autumn Festival half of all tourists chose outbound tourism.

The report also shows that more tourists in China chose self-driving travel. In East China and South China, Dongguan and Shanghai were the most popular destinations for self-driving travelers.

During Mid-Autumn Festival, the top 10 popular outbound tourism destinations were: Seoul, Bangkok, Jeju Island, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Bali, Phuket Island, Tokyo, Osaka and Athens.
