12-day Hong Kong Guilin Yangshuo Xian Beijing Tour

Day 1 Arrival in Hong Kong   
After a private transfer from the airport to your hotel, settle down for a relax on your own. Victoria Cruise for a night option.


Day 2 Hong Kong
Meals: B
Places to visit: Victoria Peak, Wong Tai Sin Temple, Repulse Bay and Stanley Market, Lantau Island(Big Buddha and Da'ao Fishing Village), Aberdeen Fishing Village.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Central for your tram ride up to Victoria Peak, which will give you a fantastic bird's eye view of Hong Kong. After a little bit rest, head to the famous Wong Tai Sin Temple where old beliefs and traditions survive in this modern city. Then proceed to visit Aberdeen where you will see an entire community living on small houseboats as they have for centuries, or to visit Lantau Island for Big Buddha and Da'ao Fishing Village.   

Then you will go to the romantic beach of Repulse Bay and explore the Stanley Market to find some of your favorite souvenirs for your family or friends, where is the most luxurious section of Hong Kong.  


Day 3 Hong Kong/Guilin
Meals: B
Site visited: Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave
After breakfast, you will take a morning flight to Guilin. Upon arrival in Guilin, you will be transferred from airport to visit Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave. Stay overnight in Guilin.

Evening option is a relax walk around Two River and Four Lakes Scenic Area, refering to the landscape such as Li River (the part within the city), Taohua (Peach Blossom) River, Mulong Lake, Gui Lake, Rong Lake, and Shan Lake. Enjoy the light vision at night.  


Day 4 Guilin/Yangshuo
Meals: B, D
Places to visit: Li River Cruise, Yangshuo Town, West Street
Morning drive to the pier for a wonderful cruise along the Li River down to Yangshuo (3.5-5hrs). A simple buffet lunch is served but this does not meet our service standards, therefore we advise customers to have a large breakfast at their hotel. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, you're to do some free exploration in the town and the West Street.


Day 5 Yangshuo/Longsheng
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Yulong River, Longji Rice Terraces, Ping'an Zhuang Village
Enjoy a morning biking along the Yulong River to see the poetic natural scenery of Yangshuo's countryside; the paddy field and orchards that surround the famous mountains will give a fascinating insight into life in rural China. on the way, you can pay a visit to the local farmer's family.
 
An afternoon drive (about 2.5 hours) from Yanghuo to Longji Rice Terraces. And then you will enjoy the dusk view of rice terraces around Zhuang and Yao minority villages.  The terraces look like ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of some hills. The villages feature traditional architecture where no nails are used in construction. The different minority customs and dress are especially interesting.  


Day 6 Longsheng/Guilin/Xi'an
Meal: B, L, D
Site Visited: Huangluo Yao Village, Jingjiang Prince City
Enjoy a morning visit to Huangluo Yao Village to meet long-hair wowen and watch the ethnic performance. you will drive back to visit Jingjiang Prince City in Guilin. Take an evening flight to Xian.


Day 7 Xian
Meals: B   
After breakfast, your local guide will meet you and take you for a bicycle ride along the top of Xian's Ancient City Wall to get a bird's eye view of this amazing ancient city.

Optional: In the evening you will be taken to an amazing Jiaozi (Dumpling) Feast followed by the Tang Dynasty Show, which bring the pageantry and music of the ancient Tang Dynasty to life.


Day 8 Xi'an
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit the incredible Terracotta Warriors. After lunch you will be driven to the Shaanxi Provincial Museum to see Xian's amazing history. You will then be driven to visit Xian's Ancient Bell Tower, which signaled the time in Xian for centuries.


Day 9 Xi'an/Beijing
Meals: B, L
After breakfast, you will take a morning flight to Beijing. Upon your arrival at Beijing's airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. After a short rest, you will go to take a rickshaw visit around most famous Beijing Hutongs where keep the original layout in the Gulou area. During this Hutong Tour You will visit a local family and experience what their life is like.  

Option: In the evening you will be taken to enjoy a Peking (Beijing) Duck Banquet at the oldest and most famous Peking (Beijing) Duck restaurant in China.


Day 10 Beijing
Meals: B, L
After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit the world's biggest city plaza, the Tiananmen Square。 Then The Forbidden City, home to China's Emperors for over 500 years. After lunch, you will be driven to The Summer Palace, where you will marvel at the opulence of this imperial summer getaway. You will then be drive to visit The Temple of Heaven, which was where China's Emperors prayed to heaven.

Option: In the evening you will be mesmerized by a Peking (Beijing) Opera performance in Beijing's famous Liyuan Theatre. The opera will have English and Japanese subtitles.


Day 11 Beijing
Meals: B, L
After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit The Great Wall (Badaling Section). After lunch next to the Great Wall you will be driven to visit the Sacred Road, the road leading to the tombs of the Ming Dynasty’s Emperors. You will then visit the Ding Tomb, the only excavated imperial Ming Dynasty Tomb.


Day 12 Beijing Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to next destination.

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.


Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.


Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.


Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.


Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.


Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
