Liuzhou adds flights to Beijing

Liuzhou will add another four flights every week on the Liuzhou-Beijing air route starting Oct 26. On the basis of one flight a day, the Liuzhou-Beijing route will reach 11 flights a week. The flights are managed by Air China using Boeing B737-800 aircraft with 164 seats.

The added flights will be each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, leaving at 16:05 from Beijing Airport and arriving at Lotus Liuzhou Airport at 19:40. Then at 20:30, the flight returns to Beijing, reaching its destination at 23:30.

The current flight will also make corresponding adjustments with the seasonal change and become about two and a half hours earlier than the former schedule. Under the new timetable, the flight will leave Beijing at 9:10 and at 12:40 arrive at Liuzhou; it then returns from Liuzhou at 13:30, reaching Beijing at 16:30.

According to a marketing representative of Air China, the company will release concessional sales policies on the air tickets. The extra flights will further facilitate Liuzhou and Beijing’s economic and trade contacts, and cultural exchanges as well as benefiting Liuzhou’s residents. (source: china daily)
